Children at Arundel CE Primary School raise over £1000 for EWA

Arundel CE Primary School is a small school with approximately 200 pupils aged between 4 and 11. The children in Years 3 and 4 were challenged to fundraise for a charity, and chose EWA. Each child chose their own way to make money, and many of the children in other classes decided to join in as well. Fundraising activities included cleaning parents' cars, making cakes and biscuits and swimming a mile in the local pool. Some of the pupils worked -

'The schools were closed for nine months, most of the furniture was destroyed by bugs, or weevils. The children were using their school uniforms in their houses. We want to thank EWA for the two thousand pounds (£2000) sent, for uniforms. For the distribution of the uniforms, we considered children who are in desperate need'.
